Flights and Clutches

The Guest Clutch
As you may have noticed, Ageuth, silver queen of High Reaches, and her rider Mamua have come to Cobalt Weyr. They came because their sands were full and the other weyrs wouldn't allow them on their sands or were full. At long last, Alana and Z'ek agreed to let them stay until the eggs have impressed, and any hatchlings that impress here stay here. Ageuth and rider are NPCs played by Zephyr while they are here.
And now on to the clutch. Ageuth has laid 14 eggs, the colors are to be a suprise for everyone but admins(LightningRip, Zephyr, Dragongirl). However, the admins have released some info about the clutch:

Bllion stars egg
This dark violet egg is covered in bright dots, and looks just like the heavens above. Its billion dots look like stars, and some even form constalations. Staring at this egg too long will make you rather dizzy, and disoriented. If you were to look close enough, you would see a single red dot... could that be a reflection of the red star?

Burning Brightly Comet egg
This brown and red egg looks to be on fire! The red-brown base gives way to a flamey bright red-orange-yellow mix, which looks as if it could actualy burn. It resembles commet-stars that fly past perns skies, a long tail of flame behind them.

First Star Egg
This egg is darkish blue as if it were the sky at Sunset. In the center it has one marking. A single bright, almost-blindingly bright, star. The first star? Make a wish!

The New and Old Nebula Egg
This egg has a midnight black background. It is covered in billions of little stars, and towards the top right there is a bright flame-red burst. It is a quite large one, but in the bottom left corner of the egg there is a little bitty blue burst. They're Nebulae! Soon we'll have two new stars!

Rustic time egg
This rust colored egg looks very old, as if it has been sitting here for turns. Its delicate surface looks as if it would crumble at your touch, yet it is firm and strong. Its rustic tones of red, orange and brown swirl into beautiful patterns, and small flecks of black run threw these swirls, all pointing towards the top of the egg, or in that general direction.

Black Hole Egg
This egg is navy-ish color. It has a dark black and gray swirl in the center… The swirl is hypnotizing… You seem to be drawn to the center of this egg more than the edges, especially since they are just solid navy in color, with no pretty pattern. Is this a black hole egg?

Aging Vines Egg
This egg is laced with what appear to be vines, though they aren't really, it's just a shell pattern. They are all different sizes and shapes, leading to the conclusion of different aged vines. This egg is many, many shades of green with the thorny and non-thorny vines lacing it. It would blend in totally if it were outside on grass or in bushes.

Fossil Egg
This egg is brownish and has impressions in it that make it look as if the egg is a fossil. It is easily mistaken for a fossil from far away, but once you get closer to it, you can tell it is an egg. The fossil itself is curled and shell-like, but has impressions around it that look like six flippers, a neck and tail, and there are very small fossil fragments within them.

Sundial Egg
A dusty yellow, this egg appears to have a clock-like design on it, and as the sun hits it you can figure out what time it is just by looking at the egg. The clutchdam has placed it so perfectly that the sun always hits it during daylight hours, and a little bump on the top provides the shadow for the time telling.

Eclipse Egg
This black egg appears to be hiding somthing. It is almost pure black, but it has a little white streak on the edge, making it look like an Eclipse. Eclipses' hide the sun, so what might this egg be hiding?

Orbit Egg
A dark bluish-black egg with rings around it. On one side the is a circular blob and on the other side is another circular blob, but that blob is higher than the other one. They almost appear to be orbiting around each other.

Speeding UFO Egg
Streks of white blaze past you on a blue backdrop, with unidentified objects apearing to be in the center of the dots. What are those objects? Why are they going so fast? As you ponder these questions, you reach out to touch the objects... only to find a hard eggshell under your fingertips.

Moon Egg
This egg is dark black, with a simple crescent moon. It is a bright yellowish-white, almost blindingly bright, in fact. You look at this moon-egg and are struck with calmness and the beauty of the egg.

Multicolor Eclipse Egg
This small egg has swirls and mixes of orange and grey shades. They come together at the top of the egg, with each colour dominating the other depending on the time of day, the orange showing at night and the grey at day.

Work has now begun on hatchling pictures, names, and descriptions. This will be done by admins in order to keep the colors secret.

Hold News

Holds Have New Names
It is a tad older news, but the minor and major holds have been named. The holds are as follows:
Major Holds:
Casper Mountain Hold
Rainlight Hold
Minipeaks Hold

Minor Holds:
Everest Hold
San Gabriel Hold
Turqstopal Hold
--
Moonstone Hold
Rainbow Hold
--
Golden Sands Seahold
Biron Seahold

The holds, along with, their descriptions and categorized by which Major Hold they belong to.

-Casper Mountain Hold-

Everest Hold
A large minor hold high within the mountains, Everest Hold is sourounded by mineholds that support its econamy.

San Gabriel Hold
To the south of its major hold and within the center of the western island, San Gabriel Hold is well protected and surounded by both fields, forest and stone. It is a productive minor hold, but heavily relys on traders to keep them supplyed with what they can not make themselves and to trasport travelers.

Turqstopal Hold
The northernmost minor hold, this isolated minor hold is sourounded by tiny seaholds that provide it with the produce it ships to the other costal holds. These northern waters are rich in "Terran" sealife, such as oysters, crabs and *gasp* Giant Tuna!

-Rainlight Hold-

Moonstone Hold
Far to the north of its Major hold, this mountainhold is sourounded heavily by rocky terrain, and so rely heavily on mining and woodcraft, with great lengths made to protect and preserve the great hard and soft wood forrest that are growing more than a days runner-ride away.

Rainbow Hold
To the south of its Major and a days walk inland from the central channel, this hold is sourounded by meadows and great reed and bamboo forrests, and is where the weavercraft hall comes to buy material and sell their finished stock.

-Minipeaks Hold-

Golden Sands Seahold
The name of this beautiful seahold describes it perfectly. Its long golden beaches are home to the fisherfolk that supply the major econamy of the town, and there are also a few wild Firelizzards who clutch not far away...

Biron SeaholdThis cliffside seahold is nestled in a protective bay, and has huge harvests of Pearls and shellfish. Its ships are mostly designed for fishing and pearling, but it has the port facilitys to handle the much bigger ocean-going ships from Southern and Northern.
